Mapping the Kiln II (recipe 292) (2019)
The project Glaze Topography, Recipe 292 examines the spectrum of another red recipe, which was fired in 18 different public kilns in the city of Jingdezhen in China on a single day.
A color map, represented by the different glaze reactions that led to different visual color results, is created. It shows the spectrum and potential of glaze recipe 292 in Jingdezhen on that very day.
