Atmographics (since 2023)
The project is a serial exploration of the painterly potential of a single ceramic red.
Ceramic color is used purposefully through controlled changes in the firing process. How can the aesthetic expressive potential of a single ceramic color be used through the possibilities of technologies for painting?
The result shows an interplay of controlled technology and unpredictable atmospheric intervention. Thus, the atmographics show past atmospheres and preserve them permanently in images of and about ceramic color.
